HEFMA members work within the 381 NHS Trusts that operate in the UK and are responsible for everything that keeps hospitals in operation 24/7, 365 days a year: from buildings to security; portering to catering; cleaning, maintenance and engineering.
The NHS is the largest and most complex healthcare estate in Europe and represents £36 billion worth of buildings and equipment. HEFMA members are directly accountable for spending a significant share of the £100+ billion budget allocated to the NHS.
It is paramount that all members are kept fully informed of everything that’s affecting this complex industry and readers of Pulse can rely on receiving an authoritative source of vital information to ensure they are kept right up to date.
